Accessibility can be defined as a tool of universality, encompassing an allowance for all members of society, regardless of their ability to navigate the world with ease. This term is not strictly exclusive to access of surrounding environments, but also applies to the facile use of products and services (IDF), as well as the availability of resources to all.

Vijay Ramnarace

Environmental Determinism is the idea that human behaviour and social development is determined by our natural, physical environment. This theory implies that  some groups will progress in ways that seem superior and others less so due simply to physical geography, on the basis of landforms, climate and temperature. Environmental Determinism has a pronounced correlation with social policy throughout history and will further be discussed in the essay.
